A curly girl herself, Daze has become known for her fierce, beautifully shaped, transformative, curly cuts. Daze was selected to be a member of the 2020 Cosmo Prof Artistic Team; an elite, five member team of hair educators that teach their techniques at several shows throughout the U.S. She is also included in Modern Salon’s Top 100 for 2020 as well as Faces of Sola 2020. Daze has a passion for helping others to embrace their naturally curly hair, as well as empowering other stylists to feel confident in cutting and styling ALL textures of curls (tightly coiled, curly and wavy).

Daze is included amongst the most sought after Curl Specialists in the US. Social Media has introduced her talents to the world resulting in Daze’s chair becoming the destination of many global hair tourists. Her clients also include actors, recording artists, local and national TV hosts, top curly Influencers, and professional dancers. Daze has worked with several fashion designers during Paris Fashion Week and her amazing transformations have been featured on the social media pages of the beauty industries top product brands and firms.
Included amongst her many skills, is product customization to complement her clients hair texture and lifestyle. Her guests leave her studio with an amazing hair transformation, professional products, expert tips to maintain their new look at home, as well as a newfound love of their curls!

Her introduction to beautifying curls, began by cutting edgy asymmetrical cuts for her teenage friends in Minnesota, out of her bedroom, in the late 80’s. This developed into a love of naturally curly hair and a 20-year career in enhancing curls.
She credits her background in portrait drawing and oil paintings as the inspiration for her approach to each style. Daze was the recipient of the 2008 SDAD Juror’s Choice (First Place) Art Exhibition Award. She brings this passion for art to the salon chair where each client is viewed as a new canvas and her latest muse.

Daze enjoys sharing this accumulation of knowledge and passion for naturally curly hair with her clients as well as other hairstylists around the world.
