I’m Tamika D. Wesley, the face behind Wesley Styles NYC. I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 23 years, specializing in Textured hair. I am a licensed cosmetologist and master barber. I have also been professionally trained with different cutting techniques. I am a Cut It Kinky alumni, RËZO certified and Deva Advanced, Level II master stylist. I love to learn. I’m also a color lover. I love to change the hairs canvas with color.
I’m also a mom, a lover of the arts, ESPECIALLY music, Broadway musicals (because I also love to sing), and museums. I enjoy crafting, painting, swimming and dancing. If I wasn’t designing hair, I would most certainly be a chef, I can get down in the kitchen!
My goal as a hairstylist is to ensure that each guests experiences a relaxing and enjoyable session. My goal is to also create a achievable healthy hair journey, that can be maintained at home. I enjoy getting to know my guest and being able to service and teach them to the best of my abilities.
Each person is different and has different needs, so I customize and tailor each session to fulfill those needs, and make every salon session a unique, educational, and fun experience.
