Carolina Contreras was born in the Dominican Republic but raised in the United States. Upon graduating from college, she returned to her native country to rediscover her “roots” but never imagined that Miss Rizos would be born in that process. Carolina is a graduate of Ursinus College in Pennsylvania and the American University in Aix-en-Provence in France where she obtained the degrees of Political Science and French. She’s passionate about social change and her greatest goal is to be able to leave the world better than she found it. Likewise, she plans to continue learning from everything life has to teach. Her favorite activities are eating, traveling, learning languages, knitting, walking on the beach at sunrise or sunset, sharing, dancing, a good coffee or a glass of wine, taking photos, reading, writing, loving and dreaming without limits.
