Jana Sherpan is a Master Stylist with over 21 years of experience. In 2009 she was the FIRST stylist in Illinois to be Certified and trained as a Ouidad Certified Stylist at the Manhattan Ouidad Salon by founder and owner Ouidad herself, who is an internationally recognized stylist and known as the pioneer of the curly hair industry. Jana is now delighted to bring Ouidad’s exclusive curl cutting techniques and expertise to Tampa.
As a Chicago native dealing with extreme climate changes and Florida’s notorious humidity, Jana has found the perfect products to bring structure, vibrance and bounce to her and her clients curly hair. Jana is amazed to see her own curls transform with Ouidad and is excited to vitalize the curls of her clients!

Jana worked in Chicago’s famed Streeterville area and in Glen Ellyn, Illinois before opening The Curl Specialist in Tampa, Florida.
Jana has trained extensively with Ouidad, Socap Hair Extensions, Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy, Moroccanoil and Goldwell. She has competed and won several styling awards and worked as a stylist for photo-shoots, theater and television
