Darlene has been a Stylist in the Hockessin area since 2006. Before working in Delaware, she began her career in the beauty business in Westchester County, NY. Darlene has been a part of the Beauty Bar team since 2012. Specializing in natural curly, and wavy hair using DevaCurl’s Dry cutting techniques, Darlene understands that clients with curly hair have very specific needs. She strives to help them on their curl journey to achieve healthy curls or waves without harsh chemicals. For optimal results curly clients should arrive with their hair clean, detangled and dry in a naturally curly or wavy style. Following a consultation their hair will be cut dry, then cleansed and styled with the recommended DevaCurl products. This service may require additional time based on curl type and quantity of hair. Please request additional time for initial visits.
In addition to curly hair, Darlene offers Redken color services, men’s and straight haircutting.
Education includes: Wilfred Academy, NY; Graham Webb Academy in Arlington; The Redken Exchange and DevaCurl Academy in NYC.
